Chano Domínguez has obtained numerous awards and international recognition for his quality. He has collaborated, among others, with Enrique Morente, Paco de Lucía, Martirio, Herbie Hancock, Jack DeJohnette, Wynton Marsalis and Stefano Bollani. He has achieved an unusual integration between rhythms and languages of jazz and flamenco. He plays tangos, tanguillos, alegrías, compás de bulerías, fandangos and soleás on his piano with a traditional jazz structure. Nowadays Chano Domínguez is one of the most demanded musicians on the entire Spanish music scene, in any musical genre. His genuine mix of music with Hispanic and Afro-American roots has not only marked a before and after in the modern history of Spanish jazz, but it also continually gains international repercussion in this type of music.

The trio is completed by Horacio Fumero, an Argentine double bass player, a regular collaborator with Tete Montoliu and Gato Barbieri and the versatile David Xirgu on drums. This is the perfect lineup to transmit the beauty and charm of this unique mix of Spanish jazz.
