Luz Casal is one of the most internationally renowned Spanish artists of the past decades, having sold more than 8 million albums throughout her extensive recording career.

Since her appearance on the soundtrack for the flim “High Heels”, by Pedro Almodovar, her worldwide fame has multiplied thanks to her remarkable interpretation of  Agustín Lara’s “bolero”, “Piensa en mi”.  

She has performed repeatedly in countries such as: France, Spain, Mexico, Belgium, Switzerland, Chile, Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Morocco, China, Japan, Canada and the USA.  

A long list of friends and collaborators form part in her recordings: Vangelis, Jackson Browne, Ry Cooder, Phil Manzanera, Wix, Pino Paladino, Tino di Geraldo, ,Robbie Mcintoch, Alex Acuña, Luis Conte, Renaud Letang, Eumir Deodato and many more.  

Songs such as: “No me importa nada”, “Entre mis recuerdos”, “Negra Sombra”, or “Un año de amor” form part of the history and memory of popular music.

Her honesty and kind nature have helped her to become one of the most loved and respected artists in the world.
