The story simply begins with the purchase of eighteen cows. Acquired by Palestinians from Beit Sahour in the West Bank, these cows become a symbol of freedom and resistance. With humour and passion, The 18 Fugitives restores the spirit of 1987 through the eyes of those who lived it and sheds light on one of the strangest chapters in the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
